IHS Rocketry

Our Mission

We aim to foster a love for aerospace innovation through hands-on experience in rocketry and physics. Members learn skills in design, physics, teamwork, and problem-solving. The IHS Rocketry Club is a passionate team of students exploring the science of aerospace engineering. We design, build, and launch model rockets as part of national competitions such as the American Rocketry Challenge (TARC).

Activities & Events

• Rocket design and simulations using OpenRocket
• Weekly build sessions and team meetings
• Launch days with FAA-certified mentors
• Participation in national challenges and STEM fairs
